ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER Peter Giordano began his photographic career in 1969. After attending Brooks Institute he worked as an assistant to a renowned Dutch fashion photographer to learn lighting. He has been a commercial photographer in San Diego since 1985 and serves clients on a local and national basis. He was introduced to the sport of Polo by a friend in 1988, and his photographs at the Rancho Santa Fe Polo Club quickly came into demand. His photographs are displayed in private collections and have appeared in periodicals, calendars and magazines such as Polo and Spur. Anticipating a random high speed moment of action inside a large area and then capturing it on film is what has intrigued Peter most about Polo.
